SM G530H Marshmallow Android Firmwares Update Using ODIN 3
Flashing the ROM manually allow you to have the latest SM G530H Marshmallow updates on your Samsung Android device. Using Odin 3 tool is the best way to do this and make sure you follow this guide to ensure the safest way to flash a firmware update to your device.
Before beginning flashing SM G530H Marshmallow on your device, it is recommended to fully charge your device battery. You will need to install Odin flasher tool on your computer but it will only run on a Windows based computer not Mac and other systems. Provide a good USB data cable and make sure it is not defected to prevent error on device during process. You may need to take out the external micro SD card from your device as some bad 3rd-party apps stored on SD card may cause some failures and error during the flashing process. Download the SM G530H Marshmallow ROM file and extract it. Start Odin and tick the F. Reset Time and Auto Reboot check-boxes but leave the Re-Partition unchecked. Turn off your Device and enter into Download Mode by pressing the Home+Volume Down+ Power keys at the same time. Use the volume up or down key to scroll and the power key to choose. Use the USB data cable to connect your device to the PC. Wait until the Odin tool detects your Samsung device as a pop up appears that says Added. Check the USB data cable or reinstall the USB Drivers if it cannot detect anything. Now click the AP button on Odin and then search for the tar.md5 ROM file you have downloaded and extracted before. It will read the MD5 checksum that lasts for a few minute.
Confirm the installation of the Firmware into your device by clicking the Start Button. Wait for a couple of minutes for the flashing process to complete. Odin will then display a word PASS in Green meaning that the update is complete. Now reboot your device for the update to make change to the device. It is common that the first boot will take longer than you typically boot device. If your Wi-Fi connection causes issue during update, you can tick the Auto reboot checkbox temporarily until the PASS notification appear and then disconnect your device. If Samsung KIES installation causes issue to the update, you can just install the Samsung USB driver. Now you can enjoy SM G530H Marshmallow firmware on your device.
